Here's one more reason to use your Citibank credit card or Ready Credit account. From 1 December 2005 to 31 January 2006, simply charge a minimum of $6,000 to your credit card or Ready Credit and you will receive a free return ticket* to Bangkok or Phuket.

Terms and Conditions


1.
All Citibank Global Consumer Bank customers who are Citibank credit cardholders (excluding supplementary cardholders and Citibank Business/Corporate/Purchasing credit cardholders) or Ready Credit accountholders (excluding secondary accountholders) are eligible to participate in this program (“Eligible Accountholders”).


2.
Eligible Accountholders who use any one of their Citibank credit card(s) to make retail purchases and/or obtain cash advances of at least S$6,000 from 1 December 2005 to 31 January 2006 (the “Program Period”) will be entitled to redeem a free return air ticket issued by Jetstar to either Bangkok or Phuket. The abovementioned transactions must be accumulated and posted on one card account only. Purchases on Flexible Payment Plan, refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent retail purchases, Quick Cash, balance transfers, payment of annual card membership fees, interest, goods and services taxes, late payment fees, and any other form of service/miscellaneous fees shall not be taken into account in the calculation of account balance for the purposes of this program.

Eligible Accountholders who spend at least S$6,000 on their Ready Credit account during the “Program Period” and maintain in the month of January 2006 a minimum daily debit balance of S$3,000 above their December 2005 statement balance, will also be entitled to redeem a free return air ticket issued by Jetstar to either Bangkok or Phuket. Refunded, disputed, unauthorized or fraudulent purchases, balance transfers, payment of annual membership fees, late payment fees, and any other form of service/miscellaneous fees shall not be taken into account in the calculation of account balance for the purposes of this program.

An Eligible Accountholder’s account(s) with Citibank must be in good standing during the Program Period. An Eligible Accountholder who closes his account(s) before 1 February 2006 will not be entitled to redeem his free return air ticket. If he has redeemed his free return air ticket and made a flight reservation, he shall be liable to refund the cost of the air ticket and/or such other administrative charges to Jetstar.

Supplementary cardholders of Citibank credit cards and secondary accountholders of Ready Credit accounts are not eligible to participate in the program. Transactions made by them will be aggregated with that of the primary cardholder and/or primary accountholder.

Each Eligible Accountholder can redeem one return air ticket only regardless of the number of Citibank accounts (credit cards and Ready Credit) he has.

Eligible Accountholders who satisfy the redemption conditions will be notified by Citibank and will receive a redemption letter within 4 weeks from the end of the Program Period.

Upon receipt of the redemption letter, Eligible Accountholders must contact Jetstar directly to make their flight reservations. Eligible Accountholders will be required to choose either Bangkok or Phuket as their destination. The free return air ticket can only be used by the Eligible Accountholder or his supplementary accountholder.

The free return air ticket must be used for travel between 15 February 2006 and 30 May 2006 and flight reservations must be made by 30 April 2006. Only 10,000 free return air tickets are available for redemption. Booking of the air tickets by Eligible Accountholders is subject to flight availability and will be available on a first-come-first-served basis. Flight reservations should be booked well in advance of 30 April 2006. For the avoidance of doubt, Citibank shall not be liable to compensate Eligible Accountholders if free return air tickets are no longer available for redemption and/or the flights to Eligible Accountholders’ choice of destination are not available.


10.
The free return air tickets are not exchangeable for cash, credit or kind and may be subject to conditions. Block-out dates for flights apply. No changes in dates or details are allowed once booking has been confirmed. Eligible Accountholders must pay for all the taxes, fees and charges applicable on the air tickets.


11.
The Eligible Accountholder may be required to produce his original redemption letter and use his Citibank credit card(s) or Ready Credit account to pay for any taxes, fees and charges applicable on the air ticket. Citibank will not replace lost or stolen redemption letters.


12.
Air tickets not redeemed by 30 April 2006 will be forfeited. Eligible Accountholders will not be entitled to any compensation notwithstanding non-receipt of redemption letters.


13.
Citibank shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the products and/or services provided by Jetstar in relation to this program. Notwithstanding anything herein, Citibank shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered by or in connection with the products and/or services provided by Jetstar in relation to this program.


14.
Citibank may at its discretion at any time replace or substitute the redemption prize with any other items.


15.
Citibank reserves the right at its absolute discretion to terminate or amend the program or vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice.


16.
“Citibank” in these terms and conditions means Citibank Singapore Limited.
